We search for candidates and act as a specialist graduate recruitment agency for individual positions. We are also able to provide pre-screening services to graduate employers who have multiple positions.

Candidate Search: Graduate employers seeking suitable candidates…

We will typically ask our clients to forward a job specification for the role that they want assistance with. We then call the client to discuss the role in depth and advise as to whether we are likely to be able to source candidates for the role. We will then advertise the role on the internet and search our candidate database for suitable applicants.

Once we have shortlisted possible candidates for a role based on their CV the Brampton Stafford Consultant working on such roles will then conduct an extensive, in depth interview with the candidate. Suitable candidates will then be forwarded to the client. Thus our clients receive pre-screened candidate CVs directly into their inbox.

Our consultants will then contact the client to discuss the candidates and to arrange relevant interviews. We then provide post-interview feedback, negotiate offers with candidates and can obtain references as requested. Brampton Stafford only charge a fee if our client subsequently engages a candidate that we had introduced. We remain in contact with the client after the candidate has began their employment and provide a rebate service in cases where the candidate leaves the client within their first 10 weeks of employment.

Graduate recruitment is, by its very nature, cyclical and it is often impractical to divert costly people resources from core HR activities to resource graduate recruitment.

HR staff are frequently inundated with “application spam” as unsuitable candidates make multiple applications for roles when they do not meet the criteria. We can manage the candidate applications, ensuring that our clients’ efforts are focussed purely on selecting the strongest candidates from interested applicants matching their criteria.

Brampton Stafford work with our clients’ candidate screening needs to determine the tasks that are appropriate for candidate screening. At a basic level we can determine that candidates are eligible to work in the UK and meet the minimum academic requirements. We can also televet candidates, scoring them by competency and organising psychometric testing when required.
