Interview processes for this career path are usually quite long and thorough, due to the investment and training involved by the company. Once your training is complete, you will eventually be responsible for advising clients how to run their IT side of the business, which due to this, training is long and the environment is very pressured due to the money that can be involved.
Expect to enter the business at a basic trainee level, and work your way up. IT Consultants are expected to be the leaders in their field, so training is always continuous throughout a career.
