Typically we have found individual candidates for small and medium sized employers who do not have a formal graduate training scheme. Such employers are unlikely to advertise their positions and instead work with a small number of agencies in order to find their graduates.
Larger employers often ask us to search for candidates when their deadline is approaching and they have a candidate shortage across a few roles and skill sets. We are confident that our database can enable us to efficiently find candidates with highly desirable skills (hence why we are keen on candidates completing our registration form)!
Our expertise enable us to identify specific candidates for roles that employers find hard to fill. For example, we searched for a graduate with experience in automotive design to work for an engineering company on the South coast. We searched for candidates on our database who had “automotive” in their CV and discovered a candidate who had registered with us and had completed a twelve month placement at an automotive manufacturer. We arranged for the candidate to meet with the employer and it resulted in a successful placement.
We also work with clients who have a less “specific” experience requirement. Brampton Stafford have serviced a Midlands based graduate employer for over four years, simply searching for candidates with a “personality” that fits into our clients’ culture. That requires our experienced consultants to visit the clients’ offices on frequent occasions, to get to the graduates on their scheme and to then ask applicants about their desires, motivations and goals before determining whether to recommend the candidate to the employer.
