Area Sales Manager – Construction Industry – East Midlands

The Company:
Our Client is a leading manufacturer of Thermal Insulation for use in the construction industry. Established nearly 80 years, they have a state-of-the-art production line and wide product range sold extensively throughout the UK.
The Role:
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to be based in the East Midlands. Working to maximise sales and margin of the company’s product line by selling to architects, builders’ merchants, contractors and distributors. Promoting the company in the most effective way and contributing towards the accomplishment of short, medium and long term goals.
Responsibilities:
· Developing sales of Thermal Insulation within the West Midlands. · Build relationships with; distributors, retail outlets, re sellers etc. · Following up of internally generated sales leads and enquiries. · Work actively on promotions at trade shows / events / conferences · Ensure sales outlets are suitable promoted.
Key Skills:
· Proven background in sales. · Proven knowledge of selling to the construction industry through distribution and specification. · Personable and presentable. · Ability to communicate at all levels. · Enthusiasm and self-motivated.
