Our client based in Nottinghamshire, work within the Hazardous Waste industry and have been established for over twenty years.
The Role:
They currently seek a Technical Support Chemist to provide operational and technical support to the Compliance Manager. The quality control will be measured using analytical methods. Judgments would need to be made with regards to the best method of waste disposal as well as maintenance of the lab equipment.
Person Requirements:
• Experience with UKAS accredited analysis preferable but not essential. • Experience in waste management sector preferable but not essential • Good IT skills essential • Analytical and problem solving skills • Good communication skills • Ability to work within a team or individually
Degree Requirements:
• Qualified to a degree level in chemistry / environmental studies
