Job Title: Colourist / Trainee Colourist
Location: Wigan, North West
Salary: £16,000 + (negotiable)
The Company:
Our client is a independent privately owned company who specialize in Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) technology particularly focussing on colour solutions for the PVC and
associated additives industry
The Role:
Working in the laboratory of an organisation manufacturing PVC based coloured masterbatches and toners. Training will be arranged, if required, to allow the successful applicant to undertake routine QC testing and also to develop colour matches for potential new business.
Person requirements:
· Self-motivated and able to make decisions ideally with experience/knowledge of colour measurement equipment.
· A methodical approach to colour matching will be required and attention to detail in keeping accurate records of work completed.
Degree requirements:
· Graduate level with a Colour Science or Polymer Processing Degree.
