Electrical Fitter/ Wirer/Wireman. My client is looking to recruit a Wirer Fitter to support the manufacture of a variety of Transit and Defence equipment. Reporting through the Production Supervisor to the Assembly Test Manager
Main duties/responsibilities will include:
· Receive Job Package. · Prioritise in order to build the job. · Build job from all the relevant information provided. · Ensure all work is of a high standard. · Recognise and work around shortage problems. · Experience of specialist tools. · To have the ability to work unsupervised. · To undertake the Build of first off and prototype equipment and liaise with Engineering to achieve optimum solutions. · Liaise with Engineering concerning any design change/rectification. · Liaise with QA department on standards, i.e. Engineering Manual, preferred components, workmanship standards. · Liaise with Material Control concerning component/material problems. · To work with Test / Engineering to resolve problems as they occur. · To operate all equipment in a safe and effective manner · Ability to plumb pipe work etc, for water-cooled rectifiers. · Working off site as and when required
