| Job Description |
Electronics Engineer. Electronics Engineer to research, develop and design the electronic, firmware and software content of electronic products.
Responsibilities:
· To review product specifications and propose technical solutions.
· To research, develop and design electronic products, including: Firmware development in high & low level languages, Electronic development, design and prototyping, Application Software development, PCB Layout.
· To observe the Company’s quality and operational procedures.
· Endeavour to produce reliable, high quality products, fit-for-manufacture, which fully meet the specifications.
· To liaise with Production Engineering and Production staff while migrating products into Production, and assist with design-related post production problems.
· To liaise with existing and potential customers in a professional and helpful manner in order to build and enhance the image of the Company.
· To maintain confidentiality and professionalism in dealings with staff and external contacts at all times.
· To undertake additional duties as reasonably requested by the Design Manager.
Requirements:
· Previous Digital/Microprocessor design experience
· Experience of Firmware development in assembler or C
· Applications Software Programming under Windows, PCB layout, Analogue design experience highly desirable
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Self motivated with exceptional interpersonal skills
