| Job Description |
Engineer – Physics, Material Science Based in Cambridgeshire £25-30K
Our client are seeking to fill an Engineer position reporting to the Senior Engineer, aiding in the development of top emitting device architectures and the testing, fabrications of transparent cathode based devices.
The role includes the design and optimisation of these device structures using modelling software. Activities include the design and execution of experiments to explore dependence of Light Emitting Polymer device performance on device structure, fabrication of devices using spin-coating, vacuum deposition and encapsulation techniques.
Following the designs, testing will need to be undergone using a range of techniques and then significant documentation completed regarding the results.
Essential Requirements:
· At least Degree level education in Physics, Material Science, or closely related.
· Significant experience in a similar cleanroom environment.
Desirable Requirements:
· Post graduate education.
· Experience of Polymer Light Emitting Diode Device testing and analysis techniques.
