Role:
The Food Sensory Manager will be responsible for the supervision of product cutting panels and overseeing the complete lifecycle of product testing for a Global Food Service Account.
The main responsibilities for this role will include:
• Leading panelists in product evaluations • Providing sensory training and consulting to panelists • Oversee all food product testing within regulations and guidelines • Evaluation of test procedures and technical report writing • Managing staff • Maintain product cutting schedules
The successful applicant will have previous experience in:
• Experience in product cutting, food testing, food preparation and evaluation • Analysis of colours, odours, taste and texture of food products without supervision • Quantitative descriptive analysis and report writing • Experience in training and leading sensory panels
Essential requirements:
• Educated to degree level in Food Science or related • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong applied computer skills
