Graduate Sponsorship Sales Executive – Central London
B2B Sales, Media Sales, Event/Conference Sales, Sponsorship Sales, Graduate Sales. Central London. Uncapped Commission.
The Company:
Our client is a conference/events, and PR company. The Conference Division organises high-level strategic national and international conferences, covering Financial Services, Transport, Media, Utilities and the Public Sector.
The Role:
It is the sponsorship team’s role to sell the benefits of sponsoring these strategic events and to develop and manage these relationships. Sponsors are typically consultancies, accountants, IT companies, and legal firms.
This role involves organising campaigns and selling on the telephone and face-to-face presentation, client lunches etc throughout London. Each sponsorship executive is expected to build relationships with potential sponsors and manage client relationships.
Responsibilities:
· Researching and conducting sales campaigns to attract sponsorship
· Build relationships and contacts with new accounts
· Arrange and attend meetings
· Face-to-face networking and business development
· Act as part of the on-site team, ensuring the smooth running of the event
· Build relationships with conference sponsors and delegates
Skills/Characteristics Required:
· 2:1 degree or above
· At least 6 months in a Sponsorship Sales/Media Sales role
· Outstanding communication skills – especially listening and conversation skills
· Persuasive and ambitious
· Confident, outgoing personality with team approach |
