Graduate Technical Support Engineer – IT Telecoms - London £22,000 - £25,000
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Computer Science graduate from a respected university to work in a technical support role within a telecoms environment, using Java and SQL.
The Client
Our client is an ever-expanding company who has doubled in size and revenue each year for the past seven years. They are a leader in the field of wireless technology, providing specialist wireless IT services to various clients. They have specialised in SMS and have kept pace with all the developments in the technological world.
The Role
You will be working within a team of technical support engineers to provide technical support to clients for the services provided to them, and also internally to other staff.
· You will respond to client technical support enquiries via telephone and email. · Diagnose technical problems. · Escalate serious technical problems to the relevant engineer. · Update clients on regular basis while support tickets are open. · Monitor systems
The Candidate
· Must be enthusiastic · Numerate degree from a respected university; a Computer Science degree is a prerequisite and a strong interest in computing is essential. · Excellent A Level grades including Maths (A) and Science subjects (A/B)
