The successful applicant to the post of Graduate Commodity Manager will be a graduate in Supply Chain Management and ideally have some professional experience in manufacturing or business.
The Role:
Our client is a market-leading manufacturer in the automotive sector. If successful you will be in a client-facing role responsible for product identification, sourcing, product change, cost negotiation and commodity strategies. Regularly identifying and meeting with suppliers.
Successful candidates will have graduated in Operations or Manufacturing and supply chain management and will be able to demonstrate previous experience using six sigma or other Continuous Improvement methodologies, however training is also provided.

The Candidate:
• Essential: Qualified to degree level in Supply Chain management with an understanding of or prior work experience in an engineering, Manufacturing or business environment. • Desirable: Experience of using six sigma. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to perform to a high and consistent standard when under pressure
