IT Helpdesk / Technical Support Leicestershire £18K + Based on Experience Our client, a global company, has expanded in Britain due to an excellent portfolio of integrated solutions for printing and electronic communications. They seek to expand their team to accommodate someone who is looking to enter a career in IT or to progress within the printing industry. Training will give the right candidate an opportunity to become proficient in new advanced software. Initially the role will be helpdesk based where the right candidates will work with clients and customers globally, by telephone, email and meeting, to establish the technical support needed to progress with the software they both create and sell. This position is open to those just qualified as well as those with experience. Training will be provided on the company software but excellent English both written and spoken is vital.
Essential Requirements:- § Degree in an IT Related Subject. § C/C++ Programming experience in a Degree project and/ or Commercial environment, HTML, Java OR experience in document composition OR printing protocols. § Full Driving Licence. § Duties § First line customer support § In-house support for various departments § Logging and monitoring of relevant issues uncovered during each call/interaction.
The role may then lead towards document composition and your role could develop into a design and programming position where bills and statements will be created using some of the technical skills mentioned above.
