	Job Description IT Systems Manager – Network & Telephony Security Systems Location: Ipswich Salary: up to £40,000pa + Benefits Necessary Requirements: The successful applicant to the post of IT Systems Manager will have an excellent working knowledge of major networking components and network operating systems, coupled with technical expertise in a number of platforms including IP Networking, WAN/LAN, Asterisk and/or PSDN. The Role: Our client is a rapidly expanding, multi-national telecoms network operator current focusing on Cloud Telecoms. They currently have an urgent requirement for a talented IT Systems Manager with previous experience in a similar role to manage the network and systems systems integration process, maintain LAN & WAN networks and supervise the IT Security Management, including firewalls. In order to do this successful candidates will have a strong working knowledge of IVR Systems, Firewalls and data encryption. Candidates with exposure to MySQL Cluster and SQL 2005 will be at an advantage. The Candidate: Essential: Excellent working knowledge of major networking components and network operating systems. Technical expertise in IP Networking, WAN/LAN, Asterisk and/or PSDN. Working knowledge of IVR Systems, Firewalls and data encryption. Desirable: Exposure to MySQL Cluster and SQL 2005. Good communication skills.
