Java Developer – Junior Team Leader Oxfordshire £Competitive
Our client is a leading software house looking to expand its junior developer team by employing a Team Leader. They are looking for an experienced Developer, with commercial experience and the relevant technical skills, to head the team and take responsibility for current junior staff and new additions.
This role is technical and coding will be an important daily activity. As Team Leader, the successful candidate will additionally be expected to lead by example and play a key role in the development of projects.
Main duties will involve applying your knowledge to technical based coding and design, managing the schedules of others, and taking responsibility for the delivery of projects. Quality Assurance practices should be used to ensure that all work is carried out to high standards.
ESSENTIAL Requirements:
§ Strong academic background – 2:1 or higher in Computer Science, Maths, Science or closely related.
§ A-Level Qualifications – As and Bs only (no equivalent can be considered).
§ Commercial Experience in Development/Programming using Java, OO Design, Unit Testing.
