PhD Medical Writer - Glasgow
Our client, a world leader in medical communications, offers tailored services via the efficient collaboration of specialist agencies to the major companies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Having experience with medical writing you will work initially on one or two main accounts, building knowledge in specific therapy areas before moving on to develop your skills in different areas, writing styles and deliverables.
Ideally you will be educated to PhD level and have been involved with post-doctoral research; having written manuscripts and presented at conferences will be an advantage. Those with a BSc Hons or MSc degrees in life sciences will also be considered but must be able to demonstrate a keen interest in medical writing.
Being flexible in nature you will also possess excellent communication and team working skills. Writers involved with development of meetings material may be required to attend and support those activities, meaning international travel is a possibility. This is a challenging industry but the rewards are great, and your career prospects endless.
Salary is competitive based on experience.
