Job Title: Public Sector Recruitment Consultant
Location: Central London
Salary: £18,000-30,000 basic + commission
Benefits: Fantastic training, private healthcare, suit allowance, pension scheme
Necessary Requirements: Account management experience-fantastic communication skills required
The Role
The Public Sector covers any government/state owned organisation and contributes to 30% of my clients' recruitment figures. You will need fantastic communication skills and real resilience as clients' within the Public Sector are loyal to the agencies they use so you will have to use your excellent persuasion skills to convince them to use you as an agency.
The Company
My client are market leaders in Public Sector recruitment, they have been recognised in this sector by a number of recruitment award panels and are constantly looking for new ways to recognise & reward their high earning consultants. The Public Sector division has a real team ethos and arrange team nights out to coincide with sales awards won by the division. They have a lucrative contract in connection with the Olympics and are currently smashing targets in relation to new accounts won.
The Candidate
Personality is key for this sector, you must be very ambitious and have excellent communication skills
Persistence is essential as you have to build up strong relationships with both your clients and candidates
Sales experience in desirable, you will have worked in a business-to-business environment for at least 6 months
You will currently be living in London, or looking to relocate to the area. As recruitment can involve long hours we recommend that the commute from home to work does not exceed 45 minutes.
