Safety/Risk Consultant Based in Oxford - £Competitive
Our clients are part of a large group delivering expert risk analysis and assessment across companies word-wide. Established for nearly thirty years they are one of only a few companies to begin providing such services to clients. Over this period they have built their team to ninety strong and continue to add to their expertise by recruiting new Scientists and Engineers. This diverse understanding allows client requirements to be reached in every project.
Our client believe that continual improvement and training is vital to produce the best and most successful working environment, so employees often renew certain technical skills and train internally to bring out the best of their ability.
Essential Requirements:-
· Degree in Engineering, Science or related.
· Experience in a related position such as; Safety and Risk Assessor, Safety Analyst, Safety Engineer or Consultant for example.
· Due to the sensitive nature of this work, applicants must have been resident in the UK for a minimum of 5 Years.
Desirable Requirements:-
· A post graduate qualification.
The role as Safety and Risk Consultant will consist of applying scientific and engineering techniques and ideals to assess the safety and risk the environment may encounter. The consultative element will see the right candidate providing sound technical advice to lower grade Consultants and directing them when necessary. The project management process will be completed after documentation of the findings in report style, managed by you. As the position is heavily client-facing general marketing and sales activities will also be expected of the more senior Consultants.
