	Job Description Senior Medical Writer - West Sussex Our well-established client is a scientific and medical communications firm who have established long-terms relationships with the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Job Outline: This is a senior role where you will work within a team and be responsible for the development and delivery of large scientific projects or programs of activities for an assigned account(s). Key Responsibilities: · Research and write abstracts, posters, primary and secondary manuscripts, review articles, slide kits, and other medical education initiatives · Direct/manage others to achieve the above · Review drafts of copy written by in-house non-senior Scientific Solutions writers, providing feedback in a mentoring capacity. · The role will involve occasional travel to the USA and within Europe. Personnel Specification: Ideally, you will have a relevant higher degree or equivalent (PhD preferred) in life sciences and have worked in a medical communications agency for a minimum of 4 years with a proven track record in: · Publication Plan execution · Medical writing and editing · Project management · High level of client satisfaction · Strong client-centric attitude · You may also have academic and/or pharma industry research experience. Remuneration: Starting salary of up to £35,000 + benefits.
