Senior (Offshore) Environmental Consultant
Location – Hampshire
Salary: £40K - £50K
Necessary Requirements:
The successful applicant to the post of Senior Environmental Consultant will have an excellent knowledge and understanding of renewable technologies and developments particularly in the field of offshore wind farms.
The Role:
As a result of year on year growth our client has developed into one of the leading consultancies in the renewable energy sector, boasting a highly prestigious client base including some of the worlds leading blue chip organisations. Due to continued expansion they currently have an opportunity for an experienced consultant to lead the Environmental department in delivering first class consultancy services to existing and future offshore renewable energy projects.
Successful candidates will have a strong background in marine renewable energy and environmental impact assessments coupled with an understanding and awareness of marine environmental issues and industries environmental impact. Candidates should also have IEMA or IEEM membership.
This vacancy is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is looking to develop their career in a structured environment and is suitable to candidates with an outgoing and enthusiastic personality. Good communication skills are essential.
The Candidate:
• Essential: Membership of IEMA or IEEM. Previous environmental impact assessment experience gained on either onshore or offshore projects.
• Desirable: Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a strong attention to detail. A solid commercial and pragmatic ethos.
