Senior Conference Producer - London
Conference Producer, Event Production, Event Management, Researching, Marketing, Sponsorship, Sales, London. £28,000 - £35,000 + Annual Profit Share
My client is a global conference company who work on over 1000 large events every year. They are fast growing and cover a number of sectors including energy, finance, pharmaceutical and legal. They have a strong emphasis on employee development and progression, and can offer fantastic opportunities in both the UK and International offices.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be taking on full ownership of a portfolio of events, you will be responsible for the scheduling, financial forecasting and topic generation.
This position would prepare you very well for more senior roles within the company in future. The next step is promotion to either Event Director or Trainee Team Leader
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· Regularly devise topic ideas, taking the initiative to test these at conferences and in research calls with at least 1-2 going into production annually. · Setting up marketing and sponsorship deals · Chairing project team meetings effectively and providing intellectual guidance and support to the Sponsorship, Marketing, Sales and Speaker Relations divisions. · Full risk analysis for each product in your portfolio · Full financial forecast and budgeting · Attendance at key industry events in your sector where appropriate
Competencies & Qualifications:
Excellent academic record (2.i Bachelors Degree) Minimum 12 months conference production experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong research and time management skills Entrepreneurial with creative flair An interest in current business issues Project management skills
Salary:
£28,000 - £35,000 + Annual Profit Share
