Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services Sector
Location: Runcorn
Salary: £34K to £40K (dependent upon experience)
Necessary Requirements:
The successful applicant to the post of Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for continued design and development of our clients ongoing project portfolio. You will meet with clients at inception stage, prepare tenders and specifications, designs and contract documentation.
The Role:
Our client is a building services consultancy with offices and ongoing projects throughout the UK. Recent acquisition of new high profile projects and with many tenders still outstanding our client’s order book is predicted to be full for some time. Due to this expansion our client has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with previous building services experience at consultancy level.
Successful candidates will be members of an affiliated institution i.e. IET, CIBSE (IEng) and come form a building services consultancy background with electrical engineering design skills. Candidates should also be able to provide previous examples of where they have used job-costing techniques, penned contract documentation and operated ISO9001 process in the work place
This is an excellent opportunity for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer who is ready to make the step up to Senior Electrical Design Engineer level or a Senior Electrical Design Engineer who is looking for a new challenge within a successful building services consultancy
The Candidate:
• Essential:
- IET, IEE, CIBSE, or IEng accredited.
- Previous electrical design experience within a building services consultancy
• Desirable:
- Excellent communication skills as this role will include client-facing tasks
