Job Description
Senior Marketing Manager – Event Management - Central London
Established for over 10 years, our client is a world-renowned high-level conference organiser within the oil and gas and energy sector.
They have been expanding steadily over the past few years and would now like to bring on board an additional marketing specialist to help them develop their events and brand across all the markets in which they work.
This role will be reporting to the Managing Director and will be managing an existing team of 12.
Main Duties:
· Overall responsibility for the planning of all marketing activities for various events, to include all conferences, workshops and training seminars. · Responsibility for promoting the brand names of our client within the upstream and downstream oil and gas sectors and energy markets. · Planning and fulfilment of all PR activities including press liaison, company promotional events and activities · Responsibility for developing content and creative style of all promotions and events. To include hard copy brochures, emails and content of the company website. · Responsibility for accurate analysis of current marketing methods to improve efficiency and financial performance of our conferences, both in terms of expenditure and revenue generated. · Responsibility for planning and coordination of ‘Account Management’ of our key clients and improving financial expenditure from these clients.
Skills/Experience:
It is essential that you have a proven track record in working in a similar commercial conference or publishing environment. You will also have previous management experience and have some experience in working closely with a telesales team.
Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 + performance related bonuses.
Although salary is totally negotiable for the right candidate.
