| Job Description |
Senior Process Engineer. Senior Process Engineer to provide process development, mechanical testing processes for a leading developer of polymer technologies.
Activities:
· Process sustaining and improvement
· Device testing and support
· Process development involving barrier layers, encapsulation technology and Scribe & Break
· Production planning for substrate supply to process groups
· Process development for encapsulation through metal deposition and encapsulation tool
· Support production operation of metal deposition tool
· Provide day-today process engineering support to both process engineering and device testing groups
· Maintain and source stock
· Work with other engineers and scientists on quality improvements and yield investigations
· Line management of technical assistants
· Computerised record keeping
Requirements:
· Physics, material science, process engineering graduate
· 5 years experience in a hi-tech engineering or manufacturing environment
· Experience of barrier layers deposition methods and metrics, processing of flexible substrates, glass material properties, process control, adhesives materials and properties, clean-room working practices and Scribe & Break
· Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time
· Calm and methodical approach to work
· Ability to solve technical problems using own initiative and use formal problem solving tools and methods
· Ability to react quickly and appropriately to changing priorities and unexpected demands
· Team player
· Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills
· Good working knowledge of Microsoft software.
· Experience of MS Project, AutoCAD, Access and statistical packages
