Software Developer – VB.net, ANSYS,
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: £22K - £30K
Necessary Requirements:
The successful applicant to the post of Software Developer will have previous software engineering experience gained within steel and structural design, specifically bridge design. This will be coupled with strong programming skills and an awareness of national and international design codes and practices.
The Role:
Our client is an established privately owned company with a successful track record in the steel bridging sector. Successful applicants will be responsible for the complete rewriting of the clients current design programme in preferably VB.Net.
As well as VB.net experience candidates should have a working knowledge of ANSYS, Superstress and 3D Modelling. They will have also previously undertaken Finite Element analysis using ANSYS. It is expected candidates will have graduated in an Engineering discipline.

• Essential:
Educated to Degree level in an Engineering discipline
VB.net programming experience
Experience within Bridge Design
• Desirable:
