	Job Description Test & Support Engineer: Optical / Microscopy / Spectroscopy Products Location:  Oxfordshire Salary: Negotiable (£20-£28k) My client is a leading UK manufacture of specialised scientific and laboratory equipment. They seek a highly skilled and experienced Test/Quality/Support Engineer to join their expanding multidisciplinary team. The job covers a diverse range of tasks including inspection, testing, trouble shooting and fault finding on products before shipment. It will also require the successful candidate to provide support to field and service engineers as well as customer support. Experience with the following skills sets will be advantageous:  Testing / developing or supporting scientific equipment.  Vacuum technology.  SEM / TEM techniques.  Optics including spectroscopy and light detectors.  Electronics, primarily analogue. Ability to follow cabling diagrams / electronics circuits.  Mechanical assemblies and precision movement equipment.  Fault diagnosis and trouble shooting.  Technical writing and documentation. Essential requirements:  HNC/Degree/Masters/PhD qualified in related Engineering subject  Previous experience as a test/quality engineer for scientific products  Needs to be a quick learner, have a flexible approach and a true team player
