We have been in search of an experienced professional and a confident communicator to fill the post of venture Officer for the preserving Treasures; Telling Stories venture. This post is established with grant investment given by the history Lottery Fund (Collecting Cultures programme). This five year partnership task involves collecting and engaging using transportable archaeological history of Wales.

Based at nationwide Museum Cardiff, the Project Officer will co-ordinate and help a programme of six Community Archaeology Projects, concerning neighborhood galleries and a selection of communities across Wales. The post-holder will build up and deliver a flow of engaging Portable Antiquities Scheme in Wales (PAS Cymru) site content, working with museum specialists and outside material generators. Furthermore, they'll certainly be a project recommend, organise education workshops and deliver analysis practices.

You will require proven connection with engaging groups and communities with their heritage, along with experience of delivering task outcomes to agreed due dates. Excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to work and travel independently to venues across Wales will be needed. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
